Project Engineer – with an Estimating Component

The company we are working with has grown and developed significantly over the last 2 years, doubling in size. Whilst their core business is in construction, there are many more aspects to the work they do for their clients including bulk haulage and supply of construction materials.
The focus is to make sure that they look after their clients, in the way the clients want and need to be looked after. It has given them a lot of repeat work from clients who like the “tailor made” touch.
With an experienced leadership group and flat management structure, there is a chance to work along some top senior people. These guys have a good reputation in their area of expertise.

The Role itself
The role itself is all about providing engineering services to the Project Manager to assist in the achievement of project objectives. And will involve an element of Estimation, working primarily on Main Roads projects.
It ideally requires someone who is self-motivated and has strong, broad relationship skills. An ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
There will be requirements to Drive in and Out to sites in the Bowen Basin. At those times, the roster would be 10 and 4. But there is a level of flexibility given the strong on site supervision team. And the element of the job that involves a level of estimating - using Microsoft Projects
Company Vehicle and package of $120,000 to $160,000 plus super and uplifts
