The role
Our civil structures team based in Spotswood are looking for an additional precontracts guru to join their team and price Civil Structure packages. This role will be suitable for someone looking to grow their precontracts career or for an engineer who would like to step into a precontracts role.
Compile and prepare first principles, resource-based cost estimates with fully resourced programs using company-supported estimating programs.
Read and understand private and government specifications, drawings and designs.
Use value engineering principles and innovation to optimize bids
Participate in pre-contract negotiations and tender reviews with senior management
About you
At least 3x years experience either delivering or pricing civil structure scopes of works on large scale infrastructure projects
Relevant experience in estimating projects greater than $10 million
Ability to estimate from First Principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
