Suncorp Group is looking for a best-in-class Claims Advisor to provide exceptional customer service whilst driving commercial outcomes.

What you’ll do
- Review workplace injury claims and assess liability, managing claims to a return-to-work outcome.
- Obtain and review medical, financial, investigative and rehabilitation reports to assist in the accurate assessment of individual claims
- Ensure legislative compliance timeframes are met in conjunction with ongoing review of medical, financial investigative and rehabilitation reports
- Adopt appropriate strategies to resolve claims cost effectively
- Ensure early access to appropriate rehabilitation so that injured claimants can achieve optimal recovery from their injuries
- Provide an excellent level of customer service to the legislative authority, employers, and injured workers through compliance with legislation, timely response times and efficiency in processing
What you’ll bring
- Previous claims management and customer service experience with a track record for delivering results would be desirable
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for the customer
- Strong priority management and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills – listen, build rapport, communicate complex information, and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders included claimants, third-party providers, external bodies and internal teams
- Well developed administrative and written skills and the ability to effectively manage all aspects of each claim within the restraints of legislation
- Strong commitment and a high degree of integrity to help meet and exceed customer expectations
