About your opportunity:
We currently have an exciting, permanent Claims Officer opportunity within our CTP Claims team. The opportunity is ideal for an individual whom is motivated to helping people get their lives back together following an injury.
You will be reporting to a Service Manager and will be supported by a Technical Service Officer and Injury Management Advisor as well as innovative rehabilitation initiatives to ensure we have the best strategy for the injured person’s progression through the claim process.
In this position, you will:
Focus on your ability to intervene with empathy early in an injured person claim experience
Facilitate services as needed to get the best possible recovery from the injury following a motor vehicle accident
Liaising with essential external stakeholders in the claim such as doctors, treatment providers and solicitors to help support the injured person through the claims process.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience in managing relationships and providing outstanding customer service to all stakeholders
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Demonstrated empathetic and supportive attitude. A desire to help people return to pre-injury state
Comfortable in managing challenging and sensitive situations with a positive outcome
Ability to be flexible and a positive attitude.
In addition, QBE will provide the following support and training:
The ability and experience of managing end-to-end claims with a fundamental knowledge of the insurance industry and claims processes
Injury management and return to work and health
Legislative and regulatory requirements.
