About the Role
We have an opportunity for a suitably qualified Classroom Support Assistant to join our supportive and highly motivated team. The successful applicant will have well developed interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with parents.
Essential Criteria
A commitment to Catholic education and the promotion of the mission of the Catholic Church;
Well-developed self-awareness and the ability to reflect on your own performance, integrity, and resilience;
The passion and expertise to work individually and collectively with students, to maximise the learning outcomes for each one, including those with additional learning needs;
An ability to engage learners in lessons and units of work that inspire curiosity and problem solving;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the capacity to develop productive and caring relationships with students, parents and staff;
Demonstrated capacity and willingness to develop students’ unique capabilities through extra-curricular activities;
- A Certificate IV in Education Support (or equivalent qualification) is recommended.
*Level 5.1 positions require candidates to have completed relevant post-secondary training or have significant and substantial technical and procedural knowledge and skill which may be deemed by the Employer as being comparable with a diploma or certificate IV with relevant work experience, a certificate III with relevant and extensive work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or training.
