About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Barwon Health in an unqualified, entry level role.

The primary function for a PS21 (Patient Services Assistant Level 1) is CLEANING & HOUSEKEEPING.

As a PS21 there are other functions that you may be asked to do such as Food and beverage and transport.

The main part of your job will be:
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff; in accordance with Victorian Healthcare Cleaning Standards, and the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
  • Effective and efficient cleaning of the facility; including public, staff, and inpatient, residential and clinical areas; together with the operation of the waste disposal and recycling systems.
