About our school:
Numinbah Valley Environmental Education Centre (NVEEC) provides experiential learning programs to students from Pre-Prep to Year 12, with environmental and sustainability themes embedded. Our customised camp, day and incursion programs are designed to assist state and independent schools in meeting goals linked to the Australian Curriculum (P-10), Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (11-12) and other specialised learning areas.
Your role:
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
- Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
- Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces.
- Disposal of rubbish and litter control including removal of material from drains and gutters between and/or surrounding buildings.
- Dusting including student and office furniture, equipment and fans.
- Hosing.
- Removal of graffiti.
- Sweeping and vacuuming.
- Vinyl/timber floor maintenance including buffing, stripping and polishing.
- Other appropriate cleaning duties as directed by the Principal/Business Manager.
This is a OO2 progression position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the OO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the OO3 level once specific criteria have been met. Please note salary rate shown is reflective of OO2 to OO3 classification range.

- When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
