C&K Banksia Beach Community Kindergarten are currently looking for a Clerical Assistant who can assist the Centre Director with the administration and financial matters; such as creating and maintaining child enrolment records and waitlist information, collecting data for QLD Kindergarten Funding Scheme (QKFS) validation and application of Health Care Card subsidies, retaining accurate attendance records for children and generate child data reports, file maintenance and arching as well as other administrative duties as needed.
The service is looking for someone who is confident, can maintain confidentiality and is open to learn new skills. This position is permanent part time, working 8 hours every week.
Ideal applicants will have:
- Qualification in business administration or related course is preferred but not essential.
- Current Paid Blue Card
- A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products with the ability to learn new software applications.
- An ability to manage the office environment and maintain documentation in an orderly fashion.
- Ability to handle phone calls, emails and correspondence.
- Previous experience with Kidsoft advantageous.
- Previous experience in a kindergarten or childcare environment is desirable.
