The Role 

We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Financial Planning Assistant to provide professional administrative support to the wealth management activities of the business. 

 

As a client facing role, you will be working closely with the Private Wealth Advisers (PWAs) to build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients and respond to general client queries and requests in line with agreed service delivery standards. In addition, you will need to liaise with key stakeholders to ensure all client tasks are completed within set time frames. 

 

This role also includes administrative support for the PWAs, including, but not limited to; scheduling client meetings and diary management, preparing documents for client reviews, maintaining client records and other general administrative tasks. 

 

This is a busy role and to be successful, you will need to be hard working, resilient and committed to delivering positive outcomes for clients and colleagues. 

 

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • First point of contact for clients, assisting them with general queries and requests
  • Co-ordination and organisation of the PWAs diary
  • Management of the client data bases to ensure accuracy
  • Preparation of client documents
  • Liaise with team members and stakeholders to ensure client recommendations are implemented correctly and in a timely manner

 

The successful candidate will ideally possess: 

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the financial service or related industry 
  • A focus on providing quality client service with high attention to detail at all times 
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite 
  • Previous experience using XPLAN CRM software would be highly regarded but is not a pre-requisite for the role 
  • The completion of relevant qualifications in Business/Commerce, Diploma of Financial Planning and/or RG146 Compliance would be advantageous
