Client Service Specialist | Investment Management

Our client is a highly regarded Global Investment Manager. They are seeking a bright individual to step into a newly created Client Service Specialist role.

The role will involve client on-boarding workflow and internal and external client queries, ensuring a seamless on-boarding process through stakeholder management, co-ordination and clear communication.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Subject matter expert in client on-boarding including AML/KYC for wholesale, institutional and, intermediary clients.
• Assist with internal/external client queries.
• Delivery of performance reporting, client communications and ad-hoc requests.
• Support the client service and product teams in monthly reporting and provision of data to clients, consultants and research houses.
• Assist with the RFP process and provide technical support to the product executives and product managers.

In order to be successful you must be able to demonstrate that you are looking to further your career in investments, and ideally in a client service/product /reporting capacity. You would ideally have an understanding of investment products, and be able to show the following skills and experience:

• 2-3 years of experience within the funds management industry either in client service, performance or operations position.
• Good working knowledge of the investment management business and investment products.
• Familiarity with the Australian regulatory landscape will be an advantage.
• Intermediate-Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint & Excel.
• Clear, concise communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to different audiences.
• A can-do attitude and attention to detail.
