Client-side/Owners Engineer - Renewables, Consultancy

Job Description:
Our client is a renewable energy consultancy seeking a highly experienced Client-side/Owners Engineer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for project management, technical due diligence, quality assurance, and performance guarantees for substation, BESS, and solar farm projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project management: Overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of renewable energy projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Technical due diligence: Conducting thorough assessments of project designs, specifications, and construction plans to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Quality assurance: Ensuring that all aspects of our projects meet the required standards and regulations, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Performance guarantees: Developing and managing performance guarantees for our clients, ensuring that their investments are protected and their expectations are met.

Requirements:

• (ideally) 10+ years of experience in renewable energy engineering, with a focus on HV substation, BESS, and solar farm projects.
• Chartered engineer status.
• Proven track record of successful project management and technical due diligence.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and performance guarantee mechanisms.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary:
The salary for this position is negotiable, with a potential range of 200,000-$250,000 plus, depending on experience and qualifications.
