We are a privately owned and operated residential aged care home that has been operating in Forest Lake since 2000. Our mission is to help and support people to live their best lives and we are looking for people who are passionate about caring for the elderly!
At Forest Lake Lodge, we adopt a holistic approach to caring for our residents. This means nurturing and supporting each resident's emotional, physical, spiritual and recreational needs and desires. New role
Reports to the General Manager
Direct reports are:
Clinical Coordinators for each area
Lifestyle Team Coordinator
Conduit to Allied Health Practitioners and Medical Officers
To provide support to and enable other roles including the AN-ACC Coordinator and Quality Coordinator.
Responsibilities
The care and lifestyle of130-140 Residents
To uphold the clinical governance framework
To promote and embed a clinical culture that reflects the values of FLL
To be responsible for the clinical budget
To ensure that the IT systems are fit for purpose and utilisation of the CMS (Person Centred Software) is maximised and enables solid clinical governance
To nurture and support clinical talent and ensure effective succession planning
To ensure processes, systems and tools meet and support legislative changes.

Minimum Qualifications
Registered Nursing Degree with unrestricted AHPRA registration.
Post-graduate qualification in Nursing.
Minimum Skills and Experience
Extensive successful experience in clinical management within the aged care sector
A comprehensive understanding of legislative, regulatory and evidence-based practice requirements related to the aged care reform agenda
Operational knowledge of NDIS regulations and requirements.
Technological fluency including a minimum intermediate level use of Microsoft Office, and high-level use of clinical management and compliance software
Excellent leadership and delegation skills.
Emotionally intelligent with excellent interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated track record of compliance with The Aged Care Quality Standards
Confident in managing human resources, industrial relations, and change management
High-level verbal and written communication skills
Desirable Skills and Experience
Demonstrated experience in an organisation undergoing transformational change.
Experience in project management including change management in line with legislative and regulatory change.
Demonstrated experience in workflow management and review.
Vietnamese language.
