Administration Officer Level 3: $31.53 - $32.57 per hour
Administration Officer Level 4: $33.46 - $34.26 per hour
Administration Officer Level 5: $35.33 - $36.17 per hour
Medical Records Administrator: $32.68 - $42.78 per hour

About the Opportunity:
Liverpool hospital is seeking a talented and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a clinical coder.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ICD-10-AM, or relevant tertiary qualifications in Health Management and experience using the 3M Codefinder.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are a must, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also important.

What You'll be Doing:
The position is responsible for the timely and accurate coding of patient's episodes of care.
Where You'll Be Working:
Liverpool Hospital is the major health service for South Western Sydney providing services to the local government area of Liverpool City Council as well as district services to residents and visitors in the area. It also provides a range of statewide services in areas such as critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care and brain injury rehabilitation.

How to Apply

Completion of a recognised ICD-10-AM coding course or relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Health Information Management
Experience using the 3M Codefinder
Demonstrated attention to detail and proven ability to prioritise tasks
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Sound knowledge of the DRG allocation process
Experience using Patient Administration Systems and other electronic medical record systems
