Heart of the role:
Clinical Coordination; manage practice support staff, running weekly team meetings, liaising between the Practice Principal and front office manager and the clinical team
Dental Assisting: ability to assist with implant surgery, general dental treatment, cosmetic procedures and more; ability to train other team members in all procedures
High-end patient care; building & maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly, light-hearted manner
Stock liaising with the stock ordering staff member
Maintain and implement procedures relating to the clinic
Provide instrument sterilisation and infection control solutions
Implementing, monitoring and reporting of repairs and maintenance across the practice
The role will also include the rostering of staff and assisting with department training and career progression of the team members.
What you'll bring:
Experience in a busy dental practice, ideally as a clinical coordinator with dental assistant experience
Cert III in Dental Assisting is advantageous
Proven record in time management & organisation skills
Excellent professional bearing, highly developed communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate others
History of staff and clinical management
A keen eye for detail, great organisation and time management skills as well as an ability to multi-task
Ability to set an example for others (i.e. punctuality, skills, work ethic)
