We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join our Quality, Compliance & Information Operations Team in the position of Clinical Data Analyst

Reporting to the Manager Quality, Compliance & Information, this position supports Brightwater to respond to internal and external reporting requirements by developing, implementing, and maintaining suitable clinical data dashboards, and collating and analysing clinical client data for trends and data-informed decision making. The Clinical Data Analyst monitors and supports the completion of Brightwater’s data for the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program, completes clinical indicator analysis, and utilises available sector benchmarking data to inform quality improvement initiatives and appropriate risk responses, ensuring appropriate information sharing with the Clinical Governance team, Executive Group and Board.

This position is offered on a Full-Time basis at Brightwater Central in Inglewood.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in health information systems, mathematics, statistics, or relevant field.
  • Experience in a clinical or other health environment with skills in computerised workflows, best practice, innovation, clinical documentation, and healthcare informatics.
  • Working knowledge and experience in data warehousing and ETL concepts, BI reporting and Analysis Tool, and Data Modelling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to self-organise and prioritise multiple tasks, work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and plan and coordinate projects efficiently.
  • A strong ability to engage with stakeholders to build positive working relationships and translate business requirements into fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare high level reports to Directors and Executives.
  • Quality management skills and a strong understanding of the application of risk management.
  • Awareness and understanding of the issues, legislation, standards, and practices relevant to the provision of safe, high quality and person-centred care in aged care and disability services (desirable).
  • Health related or clinical qualification (desirable).
  • Current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
  • Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months.
You will also need:
  • Evidence of an up-to-date flu vaccination and full vaccination against COVID-19
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance (less than 12 months old)
  • A WA driver’s licence
