Job Description:
Star Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be part of a professional healthcare team, providing quality nursing care to our patients while demonstrating compassion, exceptional communication, and collaboration skills.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional nursing care to patients while adhering to established care plans.
2. Perform physical examinations, make tentative diagnoses, and treat patients en route to hospitals or at disaster site triage centers.
3. Observe and record patient conditions and reactions to drugs and various treatments.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
5. Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
6. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing health information and emotional support.
7. Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity.
8. Direct and supervise less experienced nursing staff.
9. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
10. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognised institution.
2. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical nursing setting.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Current CPR certificate.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Ability to handle a high-stress environment.
8. Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
9. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
