About the role
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant Infection Control, you will have the opportunity to be active in a leadership role, including the development and provision of evidence-based clinical nursing, while working and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
The opportunity also allows you to act as a clinical expert, professional role model and change agent to promote practice development and quality initiatives that promote the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality customer service.
About You
- To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset with the drive to succeed in a hospital-based leadership role.
- Your passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service will be matched by your ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- You will be managing Hospital infection control, surveillance, staff health/ vaccinations and infection control reporting.
- Relevant registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse with experience in Infection Control
- Post-graduate qualification in a relevant area
- Demonstrated experience in providing education to the team
- Ability to assess, plan, co-ordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients
