A unique and exciting opportunity exists for the Clinical Nurse Consultant Orthopaedics to lead and deliver expert clinical leadership in the provision and coordination of contemporary, person-centred care delivered in the clinical specialty of Orthopaedic Surgery. This role will be part of a dynamic health environment with an expectation of practice at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - Registered Nurse Standards of Practice.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being understand to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- Nominated as Medicine Store and S8 Safe Manager as per the Substance Management Plan for SCHHS Regulated Places, as required.
- Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, workplace health and safety and ethical behaviour.
