Clinical Nurse Educator – Diagnostic Imaging
As part of our growth NaMES is excited to offer a CNE role in Diagnostic Imaging located at the heart hospital to provide advanced cardiac imaging services include x-ray, OPG, cardiac CT, CMRI and ultrasound. The CNE position will also support Clayton and other sites, as and when required. This opportunity will suit
The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) is a clinical leadership role providing education to ensure nurses practice safe, effective, person-centred contemporary care by promoting evidence-based nursing education in a range of settings. Key responsibilities include providing clinical supervision, supporting continuing professional development, developing and delivering formal education programs and contributing to policy development and clinical practice guidelines.

What You Bring
Working closely with Undergraduates, Clinical Support Nurses, Clinical Education Coordinators, Nurse Managers, NaMES, Victorian Heart Hospital workforce, and Monash University you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience, and knowledge:
Commitment to quality clinical care and sound clinical skills
Current knowledge of patient care strategies and adaptability of the changing clinical environment
Strong leadership and the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
Well-developed understanding of different teaching and learning styles, and ability to demonstrate high quality creation, delivery and evaluation of your teaching via various modalities
Outstanding communication, verbal and written and professional and respectful manner
Excellent organisational and time management skills coupled with proficient computer skills
What You Need
Registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
Demonstrated post registration experience with a strong Diagnostic Imaging skill set ideal
Anaesthetics and/or recovery experience, highly desirable
Critical Care Post Graduate certificate
Experience in leading, supporting change and contemporary education coordination delivery
Completed or working towards a Master’s Qualification, highly desirable
Current driver’s license
