An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and patient-focused Clinical Nurse to join our dedicated mental health team at a private hospital in Perth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Clinical Nurse, you will work across a private mental health facility, which offers a range of mental health programs and therapies in a calm, welcoming and restorative environment.
You will lead and support the front-line team members whilst working alongside a passionate multidisciplinary team. Your day-to-day operations will include problem-solving, fostering a positive and supportive culture and providing dedicated and specialised advice to team members.
You will perform accurate and comprehensive patient assessments to address short and long-term needs. Flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster, including morning, afternoon and night shifts, is critical for this role.
REQUIREMENTS
Current registration with AHPRA;
Minimum of three years post-registration experience with Mental Health experience;
Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to nursing practice in the workplace;
Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written);
Proven ability to work effectively in a healthcare team and positively influence the performance of other staff;
Postgraduate qualifications relevant to the area of speciality will be highly regarded;
A commitment to Mental Health & well-being promotion;
Experience in coordinating shifts and managing the unit after hours;
Demonstrated well-developed planning, prioritisation and time management skills;
The ability to facilitate psychoeducation groups is desired;
Experience working with Electro-convulsive Therapy (ECT) is desired;
Experience working with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is desired;

Remuneration:
$99,405.54 - $105,615.88 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)

The hospital, located in Perth, is a busy modern hospital offering a wide range of disciplines, including cardiology, gastroenterology, general medicine, general surgery, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopaedics, palliative care, psychiatry, rehabilitation and urology.
REMUNERATION
The salary ranges from $73,239.29 - $96,376.66 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
