About the roleThe Direct Access Colonoscopy (DAC) Nurse coordinates referrals to the health service for colonoscopy of people with positive Faecal Occult Blood Testing (FOBT) to ensure procedure is undertaken within 30 days of referral as per clinical guidelines.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist - Grade 2 delivers complex specialist nursing care and leads the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery to provide effective quality care for patients and clients with complex care needs.
