About the Position
Our Townsville Home and Community Services team are looking for a full time Clinical Nurse to join our team. The successful person will enjoy variety in their work, with no two days the same, splitting your time between the office and clinical oversight of clients in our care within the community. You will lead a small team of RN's who look after our clients in their own homes.
Provision of direct clinical care to clients and support and instruction for less experienced team members;
Maintenance of contemporary nursing and Best Practice - oversight of standards to ensure high levels of community based clinical care;
Ensuring that ASQ Policy & Procedures are adhered to including maintenance of robust documentation and record keeping;
Leadership, mentoring and development of clinical and problem-solving skills for nursing team;
About You
You will bring experience working within a community setting and be ready to progress to leading a small team of Registered staff. This role requires great organisation and attention to detail. You will have excellent communication skills and a positive client focused attitude. You will also require:
A Registered Nurse with Current registration with AHPRA
Demonstrated working knowledge of Community based Care (Aged/Disability)
Clinical skills in palliative care, wound care, continence aid, medication management, post-acute care, dementia care
demonstrated leadership and line management of a small team
Admissions and assessment of need to create and implement appropriate client-centric care packages
Administrative, budget and operational experience advantageous
What We Offer
Salary Packaging, package up to $15,900 per year tax free!

The role is generally Monday-Friday with the capacity to participate in a rotational on-call roster
80 work hours per fortnight which contribute towards a monthly Accrued Day Off (ADO)
