About Westside Private Hospital
Westside Private Hospital is a part of the Montserrat Day Hospitals Group and recently acquired by Nexus. This is a short stay surgical hospital located at Taringa with a focus on providing comprehensive, personalised and exceptional care to our patients utilising a team approach from our doctors, nurses, allied health and administration support staff.
Westside Private Hospital have a diverse range of specialties including Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Urology, General & Colorectal Surgery, Dermatology, MOHs, Breast and Endocrine Surgery and Plastic Surgery.
About the Role:
We currently have an opportunity for a Clinical Nurse with Scrub Scout and or Operating Theatre experience to lead our modern, well-established team on a Full-time basis. If you have a wealth of experience in Scrub Scout and or operating theatres and are looking to take the next step in your career then this may be the right role for you.
You will be well supported by a friendly, experienced and dynamic perioperative nursing team. This is a fast-paced environment with a variety of surgical specialties and any experience within the above-listed specialties is advantageous.
About You:
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Experience in Scrub/Scout and Theatres
- Advanced clinical and technical skills including clinical problem solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Demonstrated commitment to continued quality improvement and best practice principles with knowledge of professional Standards and Legislation
