This is a permanent, full time position (80 hours per fortnight) – available NOW.
Western Health is dedicated to providing comprehensive clinical pharmacy services, and a looking for an individual with expertise in clinical pharmacy to contribute to the wellbeing of our consumers. Focus is on the holistic, patient centered care managing a wide range of complex health issues.
The successful applicant will provide advanced pharmaceutical care to patients with complex comorbidities, as well as collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimise medication therapy. They will also participate in quality assurance programs involving the implementation of medication safety initiatives and monitor their impact to patient centered care.
To be Successful in this Role, you will:
- Have proven record of achievement as a Clinical Pharmacist providing services general and specialist units
- Understand the relevant aspects of pharmacy services including SHPA standards and legislation
- Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to continual professional development
- Participate in quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of care
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in psychiatric pharmacy and disseminate the knowledge within the organisation
