Concord Repatriation General Hospital is proud of its healthcare service excellence and leadership in clinical care. Concord is part of a network of hospitals and healthcare services within Sydney Local Health District.
Concord Repatriation General Hospital is a leading tertiary-referral teaching hospital and was one of the first public health facilities to implement a hospital-wide integrated electronic prescribing and medical records system in NSW. The Pharmacy is an energetic and friendly patient-focused team consisting of enthusiastic pharmacists, technicians, assistants and administrative staff working towards continual improvement in a rapidly developing environment. Units that exist within the Pharmacy Department include Cancer Care, Investigational Drugs (Clinical Trials) and Mental Health.
About the role
Grade 1 and 2 clinical pharmacists provide a clinical pharmacy service to various inpatient and outpatient clinical areas on a rotational basis. CRGH Pharmacy provides clinical pharmacists opportunities to upskill in areas such as aseptic and cytotoxic drug production, investigational drugs and research as well as various clinical specialty areas. CRGH Pharmacy also takes pride in conducting quality improvement activities and research and providing regular ongoing education to its team.
We are looking for someone who…
Holds a current registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (or eligible for immediate registration) without conditions or restrictions. Grade 2 Pharmacists must meet the criteria set out in the Award and are expected to be able to demonstrate continual ability to meet three of the five competencies within the Award.
Has demonstrated an understanding of the priorities and requirements of hospital pharmacy.

About working for SLHD
This is a Category A position. To be employed by NSW Health you are required to provide evidence of vaccination to comply with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy (PD2022_030).
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW. Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
