About the job:
- This position is based at Taree Community Health, working within a multidisciplinary team and support by a Clinical Coordinator you will take charge and case manage clients within the Taree and surrounding areas ensuring that clients receive quality person centred care whilst working collaborative within the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes.
- The community-based position will require you to provide intervention and consultation to adult clients between 18-65 years of age. Skills include communication skills, building therapeutic relationship, assessing risk, ability to perform mental state examination and teamwork within a multidisciplinary team.
- Working across a 7-day roster, with shifts of 0830-1700hrs or 1330-2200hrs involving one weekend per month.
- Staff will be provided with education and support from a supportive Multi-Disciplinary Team which consists of Service Manager, Team Manager, Clinical Coordinator, Clinical Nurse Consultant at Forster and Taree
- Clinical supervision is offered to all clinical staff members, The service also provides a super nummary period to allow staff to adjust to Community Mental Health.
- The position will be supported with frequent one to one with managers to drive and deliver excellence in our Mental Health Service.

- The Manning Community Mental Health Team provides mental health services to Bulahdelah, Gloucester, Forster and Taree, located on the beautiful Lower Mid North Coast of NSW.

- Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate clinical psychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent, displayed on the Psychology Board of Australia website.
- Generally registered as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia with area of practice endorsement in clinical psychology.
