Orygen Specialist Program provides mental health services to young people aged 15-25 and their families/carers in Melbourne's northwest and western suburbs.
The Orygen Youth Mood Clinic (YMC) provides treatment to young people who are experiencing severe mood disorders and co-morbid mental health issues.
Your new role:
- Provide case management and specialist clinical interventions to young people and their families/cares; such as psychological, family, domestic violence, AOD, Physical Health, UHR psychosis, neurodevelopmental and eating disorders
- Provide clinical leadership, mentoring, training and supervision of the multidisciplinary team
- Provide strategic leadership and develop service delivery model for interventions, including projects, research and training
- Provide inclusive and sensitive practice to young people and their families/carers from Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander, CALD and LGBTQIA backgrounds
- Relevant registration and qualifications as an Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Psychologist or Registered Psychiatric Nurse
- Extensive experience in clinical practice within the mental health field, including young people experiencing mental health disorders
- Proven ability to manage and lead a multidisciplinary team: manage staff resources and ensure high standards of practice through staff supervision, clinical review, training and professional development activities
