About the role:
The Alcohol and Other Drugs Clinician, working as part of a multidisciplinary team, is responsible for providing assessment, case management, referral and follow up for clients seeking assistance with substance use problems specifically cannabis.

You will be working in a small, dynamic team to provide psychosocial counselling and support to clients with substance use issues, working closely with clinicians from Mental Health Drug and Alcohol as well as several NGO’s.

This is a targeted position in accordance with GSE Rule 26: Employment of eligible persons. Whereby Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply and, where found suitable, will be given higher priority under affirmative action in order to improve access to employment and career opportunities. Where you’ll be working:
This position will be physically located at Kite Street Community Health, located in the Orange CBD close to shops, cafes and restaurants.

Western NSW Local Health District is at the forefront in the delivery of rural and remote Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol services across a catchment area of 400,000 square kilometres with regional centres – Dubbo, Orange and Bathurst - providing hubs for local and remote services.
