We are NetApp’s Professional Services business unit. Our focus is to ensure our customer’s get the best possible experience with NetApp and maximise the value of their NetApp investment. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will work hand-in-glove with our Sales teams, public cloud service providers, other technical experts, and Project Managers to deliver great customer outcomes. We pride ourselves on providing technical expertise and consultancy through an agile and adaptable business model and developing ourselves personally and professionally in the process.
Job Requirements
Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Self-driven & independently motivated. We want someone who will go and ‘get stuff done’, without being prompted.
Ability to prioritise and address multiple projects concurrently.
Strong technical knowledge and experience around Cloud Technologies across the main public cloud providers (Azure, AWS or GCP). Certifications are beneficial.
Demonstrated track record in developing and implementing technical infrastructure solutions in large scale using DevOps practices.
A genuine passion for providing first-class solutions and encouraging excellence in the adoption of Cloud Technologies.
Proven capabilities in partner and stakeholder relationship management.
Experience in Cloud IT processes and technologies covering IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
Experience with containerisation technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
Technical ownership and eagerness to mentor.
A passion and desire to learn and develop.
Education
Qualifying customer technical and service needs, and translate customer business requirements into technical solutions utilising the fit of the solutions NetApp Professional Services offers.
Designing, running and presenting to customers and partners NetApp proof-of-concepts to illustrate the fit of solutions within the customer environment
Enabling the Cloud and Professional Services architect community on the value NetApp solutions bring to their customers.
Demonstrate NetApp capability in the Cloud by delivering demos or presentations.
Publishing reference architectures, significant wins, etc, internally and/or externally.
Identify joint opportunities with NetApp partners to address the customer use-case
Staying abreast of industry and NetApp’s portfolio of cloud products and services.
Lead and deploy highly complex hardware & software architectures, installations and integrations across Hybrid Cloud.
Developing or enhancing processes and techniques employed buy our Professional Services team.
Provide detailed Project planning, design, implementation, and final “As-Built” documents as necessary.
Working with stakeholders to ensure a high quality of service
