Job Description
A little about the role
You will primarily be part of an exciting new ICT Team that will be responsible for both remote and on-site ICT Systems administration as part of an internal ICT team for our organisation, providing operational support and maintenance of our network, infrastructure, security and cloud environments.

  • Be the friendly first point of contact for day to day technical support & advice.
  • Provide outstanding onsite and remote site ICT support by listening, interpreting and solving user issues and escalating when appropriate
  • Autonomously analyse, monitor, manage, resolve, and/or escalate incidents/problems.
  • Meet DPV Health ICT Service Level Agreements.
  • Be responsible for management, maintenance and security of DPV Health’s infrastructure and cloud infrastructure.
  • Optimize system performance for both efficiency and cost through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Investigate and resolve faults.
  • Follow and implement DPV Health and DHHS Cybersecurity policies, guidelines and procedures strictly.

Desired Skills and Experience
About you
Being a Team player, you take pride in your customer service and technical troubleshooting skills. You are friendly, curious to learn and tenacity to make a difference in an environment that requires people skills. You also have the technical skills and knowledge expected of the role.

  • Relevant industry certifications/Qualifications (Microsoft, ITIL, Cisco, Citrix, VMware or other certifications).
  • Experience of 2 years or more in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and experience in networking, firewalls and switching particularly in configuration, implementation, and management. (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VNet).
  • Vulnerability and patch management.
  • Hybrid Active Directory administration experience.
  • Microsoft 365/Azure management knowledge and understanding.
  • Microsoft Security stack experience is preferred (ATP/Cloud app security)
  • Maintaining virtual environments (VMware/Hyper-V/Azure VMs).
  • Experience with Cloud and onsite backup, recovery and retention (VEEAM/Azure backup)
  • Powershell scripting is required.
  • Desktop/thin client and mobile configuration, deployment and management.
  • Operating system management (Windows/Mac/IOS/VyOS/Linux).
  • Experience with administration of SaaS applications.
  • Strong understanding of PaaS and IaaS.
  • Hands-on experience in working on technical aspects of cybersecurity programs.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate and empathize with a diverse audience of varying technical ability.
  • Self-sufficient and resourceful in handling tasks and projects.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
