We are looking for a full-time Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our clients Application Services team that builds and supports highly scalable and reliable infrastructure for in house apps and on-premise IT.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a well-established global start-up, working with global leaders in the security and privacy space.
Requirements:
Must haves:
● Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Software Engineering and/or IT roles
● Demonstrable experience working in an Ops role (DevOps, Sysadmin, Site Reliability Engineer)
● Strong experience with Linux systems and shell programming
● Experience with either Python or JavaScript programming
● Experience with Amazon Web Services - AWS
● Integration with, and the management of, systems and services via REST API
● Great problem-solving skills and attention to detail
● Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
● Ability to apply critical thinking in a timely manner
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
● Ability to self educate and present new ideas to the wider team
● Ability to manage and meet deadlines
● Ability to apply strategic thinking to issues of load and scale
