Club Development Officer - Greater Northern Region

About the role

Cricket Tasmania are seeking a highly organised Club Development Officer to implement and drive our community cricket strategy to schools, clubs and associations in the greater northern region of Tasmania.

The Club Development Officer will promote and manage cricket within greater northern Tasmania ensuring that cricket infrastructure, including clubs, volunteers and administrators is of the highest quality, the cricket experience is positive for all participants such that participants are retained within the game.

Cricket Tasmania are also seeking Cricket Development Officers in both the Northern and Southern regions of Tasmania.

About you

  • You have highly developed communication skills including the ability to deliver and present information to stakeholders at all levels
  • You are highly self-motivated and organised with strong time management, planning and organisational skills, and the ability to solve problems and meet objectives
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively liaise with, influence and build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • You are team orientated with the ability to work in a collaborative, flexible manner including the ability to work some nights and weekends across summer
  • You have a current drivers licence
  • You have a current first aid certificate
  • You are committed to diversity and inclusion
  • You have a Current Working with Vulnerable People registration or the willingness to obtain this registration
