About the Role
Due to continued growth we have a great opportunity for a Collections Consultant to join our team based in Northbridge.
With the flexibility to work form home full time, the primary purpose of the role is to manage a portfolio of impaired accounts that are worked on a contingency basis from financial institutions.
The role is permanent full time which reports directly to the Manager of Contingency Collections. This is not an entry level position - you must have a minimum of 3 years' in receivables management/ call centre or similar enviroment.
As a Collections Consultant your responsibilities will include:
- Active portfolio management
- Skip Tracing
- Managing inbound and outbound calls from customers and related parties
- Issue enforcement action
- Dialler campaigns
- Contacting customers and negotiating promise to pay
- Achieving key performance indicators
Selection Criteria
- At least 3 years experience in receivables management/call centre or similar environment
- Superior customer service skills, communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to quality service
- An exemplary telephone manner
- High level attention to detail
- Excellent time management, ability to coordinate, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work under pressure
- A commitment to quality service
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- High level of emotional intelligence
- Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office suite
