Job Description
- Work as a part of the analyst team to up-skill the team on pricing and provide support across all analyst functions
- Supporting relevant departments in developing and maintaining effective pricing strategies to optimise business profitability
- Supporting the finance team through weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis
- Preparation of monthly forecasts
- Monitor business performance against budgets, forecasts and business expectations
- Analysis of stock and buying trends to improve company decision making
- Conduct inventory audit and highlight potential overstock situations whilst coordinating with necessary stakeholders
- Process improvement implementations and opportunities
- Other adhoc duties and responsibilities
- University qualified degree in a relevant field (analytics, math, commerce, etc)
- CA/CPA qualifications or working towards
- Previous experience in working within retail or FMCG industries would be preferable but not required
- Experience in using Accounting systems such as SAP
- Proficient use of Microsoft 365 and BI reporting
- Strong experience with Excel and data modelling skills
- Excellent commercial and business acumen
- Well-regarded stakeholder management relationships
- High analytical skills
