Role Location: 242 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000
Role Type: Permanent, full time role
What will your day look like
Identify, develop and support brokers and referrers to increase sales growth.
Assist to develop and implement regular contact strategies and networking opportunities across our Commercial Banking divisions NSW/ACT Metro and Regional to grow third-party distribution.
Stay abreast of the industry and provide market sensing to help sale leaders understand the external market.
Act as an SME to provide clarity and upskill brokers and aggregators on ANZ policy, credit appetite, process and product.
Provide education and training support to our Commercial Bankers, Brokers and Aggregators.
Monitor and review relationships between broker and banker to ensure the alignment is optimal.
Evaluate broker and aggregator relationships’ relevant to the product/business and recommend whether accreditation should be continued.
Ensure the accurate and timely completion of key broker processes including on-boarding, off-boarding, commission and well-managed processes.
Supervise, monitor and recommend consequences & solutions for third-parties ensuring compliance to risk & regulatory

Market / Industry Knowledge: Strong level of knowledge and experience in the broker industry, demonstrating understanding of business needs and expectations and abilities to originate new business
Commercial Banking Knowledge: Strong knowledge of commercial banking, particularly policy, process and product, preferably with experience gained in a business banking environment.
Commercial Lending: Strong knowledge of financial statements and credit assessment skills (background of sound business lending).
Team Player: Ability to work autonomously, work with a team and solve problems quickly.
Demonstrated people management and coaching skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills and technologically savvy
