About the role & client
An exciting opportunity to join a ASX listed company in the construction/manufacturing industry. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, this position focuses on adding value and driving commercial excellence through analysis of key data, aiming to better business efficiency and effectiveness. This organization has experienced consistent growth over the past 5 years and are keen for an ambitious, detail-orientated analyst with strong budgeting, forecasting and business partnering abilities to join.
The Responsibilities
Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders across multiple facets of the business
Consistently working to provide superior value for stakeholders
Budgeting, forecasting, and planning to drive the business forward
Performing variance analysis and subsequent commentary
Preparing financial statements
Partner closely with the Sales team in reviewing pricing and articulating financial impacts
Strategic decision making to maximize revenue and profitability
Performing P&L reviews
Ad-hoc work and analysis as required
The Successful application will have:
A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting- CA/CPA qualified or working towards it
Previous experience in a medium size manufacturing or construction company
Exposure to asset management
Strong business partnering, stakeholder management and decision-making abilities
Robust expertise in budgeting, planning, forecasting and analysis
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
SAP/Oracle highly regarded
Advanced Excel skills
