About our client
Our client is an established boutique firm with offices centrally located in Sydney CBD.
Due to growth, a role has arisen for a mid level solicitor to join this dynamic, friendly team. Providing key support to the Principal and Senior Associate you will assist with a broad array of corporate disputes including contract, employment, shareholder, property, building and construction (including strata) litigation and general commercial disputes across a range of jurisdictions (including Supreme and Federal Courts).
About the candidate
The right candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
preferably a minimum of 4 years PQE in general commercial disputes (candidates with 3 years experience in commercial disputes capable of running their own matters are encouraged to apply);
a good, solid understanding of Court Practice and Procedure;
strong drafting skills (you will be working with Counsel and senior lawyers to draft pleadings and submissions)
a strong work ethic and willingness to learn;
Attention to detail and good negotiation skills;
Solid academics
An obvious passion for commercial litigation
