Services includes early intervention and therapy, support coordination, group recreation and skill development activities, individual in-home support as well as parent support and education, day activities, housing, and support for adults as well as children in out of home care.
About the Role
The Commercial Manager role has been created and is responsible for providing effective and efficient management of contracts, leases, property and facilities, tender management, grant monitoring and applications and providing ongoing development of strategic business improvements and delivering innovative commercial and procurement solutions to the business.
Key responsibilities include;
- Plan, develop and control procurement activities
- Develop and implement optimal strategies for the ongoing development and administration of contracts
- Monitoring and preparation of Grant Applications (Federal and State Government)
- Management of property and facilities service and maintenance contracts
- Effectively manage insurance requirements (PAI) and requirements of supplier insurances
Requirements;
- Tertiary Qualification in Commerce (Major in Commercial law Advantageous)
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent communication and engagement
- Strong business partnering skills
- Strong negotiation skills

Able to manage your own time and outcomes driven you will need to be vigilant, sensitive to business goals and priorities and capable in negotiations.
Employment is dependent upon evidence of your application for the NDIS Screening Check (mandatory from 1st Feb 2021).

You will be required to apply for an NDIS Worker Screening Check. This check includes a national criminal records check, and will cost you $121.10. The check is valid for 5 years.
Successful applicants will be required to supply a current Working with Children check for an employee. If you have lived outside of Australia for more than 12 months in the last 10 years, you will be required to supply an international police check from the country where you lived. Employment cannot commence until this check is received and assessed.
Shortlisted applicants will also be required to undertake the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission online Worker Orientation training module called ‘Quality, Safety and You’ prior to attending induction. This is a pre-employment requirement and if not completed, employment will not proceed.
