As Commercial Buyer, you will, you will draw upon your ability to negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes with suppliers that drive and improve performance and product quality. Specifically, this involves maximising value for money, leveraging external capabilities, optimizing and protecting the supply chain to ensure responsible and continuous supply of materials, services and finished goods. You will also manage operational and transactional aspects related to procure - to - pay processes and day - to -day management of the supply base, to ensure the efficient and effective execution of the sourcing strategy.

- Broad understanding of procurement functions, with knowledge also of Quality & Food Safety methodologies
- Good communication, project management and change management skills
- Strong team player with good self-awareness and ability to build relationships with peers and broad range of associates
- Tertiary qualifications
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Setting the strategy and source effectively for small spend items
- Ensure SAP supplier contracts are in place, up to date, amended as needed and recorded in category ‘books’
- Assisting with value leadership activities, including owning and managing the execution of activities across the business
- Provide the first line of escalation on issues between suppliers and the business, including resolution of quality issues
- Represent category at Material risk meetings
