Crown have multiple opportunities for Commis Chefs to join the Banquets team in either Hot Kitchen or Garde Manger! As a Commis Chef you will present ideas for service improvement while being results focused and driven. Your people agility, communication skills, teamwork and ability to make decisions under pressure are all critical success factors in this role.
The Banquets Kitchen is responsible for production items Crown wide. In this role, you will assist in the daily operations of the Events kitchen delivering products to over 30 outlets and catering for functions from 10 to 2000 guests. The Events team is committed to delivering exceptional standards and outstanding service Crown wide.
What you need:
Experience in high volume events and conferencing or hotel experience is highly desirable
Passion for the industry is a must and continuous thirst for knowledge
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work autonomously whilst maintaining high and consistent standards
Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP
Must be able to work a across a 24/7 rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
Certificate III in Commerical Cookery or equivalent
