About the Hotel
Features golden 26 level tower with 347 accommodation rooms & suites, Mr. Carpano Dining and Bar and Allora Café. About the Role
You will work 3-4 days per week in our Kitchen team and key duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Preparation and cooking for buffet breakfast, a la carte dinner, cafe and room service
- Be creative to produce high quality dishes that delight our guests
- Ensure that food standards are maintained according to established recipes and standards
- Keep a safe and hygienic work environment and understand food safety standards and HACCP
- Ensure strick stock roation and minimum wastage
- Completion of a Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
- An energetic and proactive enthusiasm to develop your culinary expertise
- Genuine passion for Food
- A team player who easily builds rapport with colleagues and guests
- A positive can do & guest focused attitude
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including mornings, nights, weekends and holiday periods
