Primary Objective:
The Commissioner Fire and Emergency Services is responsible for ensuring the capacity of operational staff and volunteers to respond in emergency situations as legislated in the Fire and Emergency Act 1996 and the Emergency Management Act 2013; and for working collaboratively with partners and stakeholders to undertake and manage emergency management activities as legislated. An Executive contract for up to 4 years may be offered.
