About the Position This position is responsible for coordinating and marketing events, producing and disseminating publications and social media management on behalf of WorkCover WA. More specifically, the role will undertake a range of duties including: Liaison with internal and external stakeholders regarding the planning and delivery of events which support and increase WorkCover WA’s industry profile; Plan, prepare and manage the creation and distribution of events-related collateral; Research, prepare, write and edit news items and communications for publication on the WorkCover WA website and intranet; Contribute towards visual concepts and production of communications and education products and materials for WorkCover WA, including the Annual Report; Undertake design tasks using Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro and Acrobat).
The successful applicant will possess strong communication skills and a technical knowledge of contemporary marketing and media platforms to effectively engage with stakeholders and the public to promote understanding and awareness of the workers’ compensation and injury management scheme.
