Communications Manager- Claims/Insurance

Our client is a leading organization in the government and insurance industry.

They are based in the Sydney CBD.

About the role:

Our client is looking for a Communications Manager.

This is an initial 6-month contract with further extensions.

The Communications Manager reports to the Change Lead and works with the Program Manager.

You would also be liaising with the Communication Managers from other streams.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively deliver communication content, including providing consistent messaging, positioning, branding and engagement
• Ensure all communications are aligned, sequenced and integrated with the broader improvement plan
• Work closely with the Communications teams to ensure accurate communications, alignment and consistency
• Ensure information and messaging packs are always up to date for immediate use with external stakeholders
• Assist with the implementation and agreed tracking, measuring and reporting for Improvement Program communications in line with broader templates and timings

Skills and experience:

• Expertise in aligning Communication Strategy with the broader organizational strategy, communication planning and execution
• Managing internal communication teams and coaching them
• Previous experience working in the Insurance/Claims/Banking/Finance/Super/Government industries as a Communications Manager
• Previous experience managing change & risk
• Previous experience working in an Agile environment
