Located in the Belmont area, we are a community based, long day-care centre which is well-established and known for its commitment to providing high quality Education and Care programs. We are currently seeking a vibrant and passionate educator to join our professional Education and Care team. With generous ratios and above award wages, you will be required to support the service in the continuation of providing high quality care and education for our children. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, facilitating educational programs, mentoring educators in play-based learning programs and maintaining appropriate workplace health and safety.
The successful applicants will be an experienced educator and hold a Cert 3 or Diploma in early education and care or equivalent, demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and be passionate about working closely with other educators, children and families.
This position will be for immediate start.

Skills/Qualifications:
- Understanding of infant development and care needs
- Understanding of the EYLF and NQF and how it applies in practice
- Ability to link personal philosophy with centre philosophy
- Well-developed written and communication skills and ability to work with and incorporate technology in your day to day practices
- Experience with planning, programming and writing children’s learning and developmental records.
- Passionate about learning and developing your skills and knowledge
- Passionate about 0-5-year-old children's learning and development
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Energetic, reliable and fun
- Responsive to children’s needs and ability to model respectful language
- Professional attitude/demeanor and a desire for personal growth
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- High personal standards
- Able to be flexible with start and finish times at short notice
- An interest in career progression and professional development
Essential Requirement:
- Be available to work between 7:15am and 5:45pm
- Fluent in English
- Current WWCC
- Current First Aid, approved Asthma, Anaphylaxis Certificates
- Completed Cert 3 in Early Education and Care
