The Role:
As a Community Care Worker (Domestic only) at St. Louis, you will work as part of a supportive team in an environment that fosters positive connections. You will be helping St Louis’ much respected clients live a better-quality life, assisting with daily living activities including all aspects of cooking, cleaning, laundry, and social activities with a focus on keeping clients as involved as possible whilst living in their own homes. A certificate 3 is not a requirement of this role.
About You:
As a Community Care Worker you will demonstrate a genuine commitment to the care of others and appreciate the role of older people in society. You will have a strong work ethic, be reliable, and have a willingness to adhere to established care plans, as well as St Louis’ Policies and Procedures.
Our selection criteria is based on character, qualifications, and competence.
To be successful in your application you will need:
- Covid-19 Vaccinations including booster (Essential)
- Flu Vaccination 2022
- National Police Clearance (No older than 3 years)
- Full driver's license
- Roadworthy & Comprehensively insured vehicle
- Reliability and flexibility to work
- A strong command of English
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Proven ability to work autonomously
- Commitment to further undertake in-house education and training
