Community Facilitator

CREATE is seeking a Community Facilitator for our Adelaide, SA office for 2 days a week. We offer great entitlements including Salary Sacrificing, an additional 3 days Board Leave per annum on top of the 4 weeks annual leave.

CREATE Foundation is the peak consumer body representing the voices of children and young people in the out-of-home care sector to advocate for change to improve the system.

Position Context and specific job requirements:

The Community Facilitator is essentially a change agent who facilitates engagement with children and young people. Connecting them to each other, their community and CREATE through active participation in CREATE’s programs and activities. The successful applicants will have a degree in Social Work, Human Services, Social Science or relevant field with at least 12 months experience in the out of home care sector.

Key Criteria

• Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Social Science or related field coupled with at least 12 months experience in the out of home care sector.
• Current Driver’s License.
• Successful Working With Children's Check (WWCC) Security Check.
• Must comply with government and / or health directives in each state jurisdiction, and where so indicated be vaccinated for COVID 19.
• Weekend work and evening work on occasion.
