As the charity for Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH), the Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS), Redcliffe Hospital, and various prestigious research institutes and centers at the Herston Health Precinct, we're dedicated to funding life-saving research and advancing patient care.
Purpose of the Role:
The Community Fundraising Coordinator is pivotal in supporting RBWH Foundation's fundraising initiatives. You'll engage with our hospital community, organisations, and community groups to raise funds and awareness. Your primary focus will be on developing, implementing, and managing Community Fundraising activities at the grass-roots level to generate revenue and support our mission.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Community fundraiser engagement and support: Cultivate relationships with stakeholders, offer guidance to community fundraisers, and collaborate with the Marketing Team on promotional campaigns.
- Grass-roots Community Fundraising event support: Ensure effective communication with fundraisers, support their events, and organise targeted community events, like Mother’s Day Stalls, in consultation with the Foundation team.
- Collaborative strategy implementation: Work with the Foundation team to execute fundraising strategies, research new ideas, and enhance participation.
- Data and compliance: Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with regulations, and uphold RBWH Foundation policies.
- Engagement and participation: Support the Corporate & Community Fundraising Manager, represent the Foundation at events, and contribute to overall mission objectives.
Desired Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in Events, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in Community Fundraising, event planning, or nonprofit management.
- Proven track record of successful fundraising initiatives and/or event management.
- Experience in stakeholder relationship management and familiarity with fundraising software and platforms.
