About the role
As a Community Support Assistant, you will be providing support to elderly members of our community to live more fulfilling and independent lives by providing person-centred care. You will work closely with the at home care team to have an in-depth knowledge of clients individual needs. These needs may include:
- Personal care (dressing, assist in drying and transfers)
- Transportation to and from appointments
- Use of aids and personal equipment (i.e. hoist)
About you
You have a passion for caring for the older members of our community and their families while making a difference to someone’s everyday life. You value having a flexible working schedule and ae able to work autonomously often without direct supervision. You have clear communication skills to support client engagement and a desire to assist clients in reaching their independence goals.
