West Wimmera Shire Council has multiple vacancies across our shire for casual and permanent Community Support Workers.
Community Support Workers with relevant qualifications (such as a Certificate III in Home and Community Care (or equivalent)) provide personal care to consumers such as support with hygiene, mobility, dressing, toileting and assistance with medications.
Community Support Workers without, or who are working towards qualification, provide domestic assistance, including meal preparation, vacuuming, cleaning, washing, mopping, as well as provide shopping assistance (escorted and unescorted) and carer respite.
